This Mack CRD93 rear-rear differential has a 5.73 ratio and comes with transverse rod studs. A tandem axle differential divides the incoming driveline torque between the front and rear drive axles while allowing each to turn at its own speed through corners.
To order the right unit, have these answers ready: fine or coarse spline pinion, one tapered hole or two boltholes for the upper torque rod, whether four bolts come out the back of the differential housing for a transverse rod mount, and the axle spline count (count the teeth on the axle shaft).
