Meritor E-10244 or E10244 is a Mega Plus brake kit for the Eaton 16.50 in. ES-II Extended Service Brake on drive axles. It covers brake widths of 7.00 in. and 8.625 in. and is listed under FMSI 4709 and 4726. The kit is for the ES-II no-tab shoe with retainer spring holes in the web, uses no anchor pin bushing, and works only with Eaton ES camshafts. Install the retainer springs with the coil end up.
