The Meritor M6402220070X is a brake caliper. A disc brake caliper is the clamping unit at the wheel end: it presses the brake pads against the rotor to slow the wheel. This one is a genuine Meritor part from Pro Gear and Transmission. Calipers are matched to the brake model and axle position they came on, so call us with your axle or brake details and we will help confirm proper fit before you order.
