The 47623A Meritor tapered roller bearing cup is the outer race half of a tapered roller bearing set used in differential and axle assemblies. The cup presses into the housing bore and provides the hardened raceway the tapered rollers ride against, so it is replaced together with its matching cone whenever a carrier or wheel end is opened up. Pro Gear and Transmission carries the supporting differential hardware that goes with it, including bearings, shims, spacers, snap rings, pinion gears and input shafts.
