The LM501310 Meritor tapered roller bearing cup is the outer race half of a tapered roller bearing set used in differential and axle assemblies. The cup presses into the housing bore and provides the hardened, angled raceway the matching roller cone rides against, letting the bearing carry both radial and thrust loads at the same time. Cups and cones are matched components, so the race is replaced together with its mating cone whenever a bearing is serviced. Along with bearings, Pro Gear and Transmission carries the shims, spacers, snap rings, input shafts and pinion gears that go into a Meritor differential rebuild.
