The Midland Haldex AQ960515 is a 2S/1M ABS kit designed as a competitive replacement for MBS WNC change-out (Lite) applications. It centers on the N9001ZA ABS relay valve, a 4-port unit with an integrated mounting bracket. The ECU uses a PLC Select design running at 12V. Port sizing: reservoir at 1/2 inch, one 3/8-inch control port, and four 3/8-inch delivery ports. The kit ships with one 6.0M power cord extension, two 2.5M wheel-speed sensors, and two sensor clips. Note that this standard ABS modular kit requires a separate spring brake control and is not a substitute for the Haldex Full Function ABS system. Replaces MBS1, MBS1P, and MBS2. Upgrading from MBS2 (in-axle sensing) requires optional wheel-end hardware: AQ15457 (uses sensor blocks) or AQ15458 (uses sensor brackets).
Haldex recommends replacing wheel-end sensors whenever replacing or upgrading the ABS system. Two 2.5M sensors and two clips are included in this kit.
