The Muncie A20-A1005-H231XPX (also referenced as A20A1005H231XPX) is a medium-duty clutch shift power takeoff designed specifically for Allison 3000 and 4000 series transmissions, mounted via a 10-bolt interface. The shift cover rotates 360 degrees, and the pump flange is fully rotatable, giving installers flexibility in tight engine compartments. Tapered roller bearings extend PTO service life, and the increased-diameter output shaft adds durability under load. The design uses extended-length mounting fasteners and is compatible with the EX Drive shaft extension. Three housing arrangements are available within the A20 series, and the unit carries a single intermittent/continuous torque rating across its speed range.
