The Muncie A20-A1005-HX1PB or A20A1005HX1PB is a medium-duty, clutch shift power takeoff from the Muncie A20 Series, designed specifically for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. The 10-bolt mounting pattern accommodates three housing arrangements, and the shift cover allows 360-degree rotation for flexible installation. A rotatable pump flange and increased clearance simplify pump mounting on tight installations. Tapered roller bearings and an increased-diameter output shaft address long-term durability. The clutch pack carries a single intermittent/continuous torque rating across the speed range, and the gear design is optimized to minimize operating noise. Extended-length PTO mounting fasteners and compatibility with the Muncie EX Drive shaft extension round out the feature set.
