The Muncie A20-A1005-HX5BBPX or A20A1005HX5BBPX is a 10-bolt clutch shift power takeoff designed for Allison 3000 and 4000 series automatic transmissions. The shift cover rotates a full 360 degrees and the pump flange is rotatable, giving installers flexibility in tight engine compartments. An increased-clearance design simplifies mounting, and extended-length PTO mounting fasteners are included. The output shaft carries a larger-than-standard diameter for added durability, and tapered roller bearings extend service life. A proven clutch pack handles the load, gear geometry is optimized to reduce operating noise, and reduced leak paths keep fluids where they belong.
