The Muncie A20 Series power take-off, part number A20-A1009-HX5BBPX or A20A1009HX5BBPX, is a medium-duty clutch shift PTO designed specifically for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. The 10-bolt mounting pattern pairs with a shift cover that rotates 360 degrees, giving installers flexibility in tight installations. A rotatable pump flange and increased housing clearance further simplify mounting. Tapered roller bearings and an increased-diameter output shaft extend service life, while a maximized gear design keeps operating noise low. Reduced leak paths and extended-length PTO mounting fasteners are built into the design. The unit carries a single intermittent/continuous torque rating and is compatible with the Muncie EX Drive shaft extension. Three housing arrangements are available within the series.
