The Muncie A20-A1005-HX5IIPX or A20A1005HX5IIPX is a medium-duty, clutch shift power take-off designed for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. It mounts on a 10-bolt pad and uses a proven clutch pack design with tapered roller bearings to extend service life. The shift cover rotates 360 degrees for flexible installation, and the pump flange is rotatable as well, giving installers additional positioning options. An increased output shaft diameter adds durability at the drive end, while extended-length PTO mounting fasteners and increased housing clearance simplify the installation process. The unit carries a single intermittent/continuous torque rating, is available in three housing arrangements, and is compatible with the Muncie EX Drive shaft extension.
