The Muncie A20-A1006-HX5IIPX or A20A1006HX5IIPX is a medium-duty, clutch shift power take-off engineered specifically for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions using a 10-bolt mount. The A20 Series design centers on a rotatable pump flange and a shift cover with 360-degree rotation, giving installers flexibility in tight engine-bay layouts. Increased clearance around the unit simplifies installation, while extended-length PTO mounting fasteners and a reinforced output shaft diameter add durability at the wheel end. Tapered roller bearings support long service life, and the proven clutch pack carries a single intermittent/continuous torque rating across the lineup. Three housing arrangements are available within the series. The unit is also compatible with the Muncie EX Drive shaft extension.
