The Muncie A20-A1008-HX1BSPX or A20A1008HX1BSPX is a 10-bolt clutch shift power takeoff unit built for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. The shift cover rotates a full 360 degrees, and the pump flange is independently rotatable, giving installers positioning flexibility on the vehicle. Tapered roller bearings extend service life, and an increased-diameter output shaft raises durability under sustained load. The housing comes in three arrangements to suit different installation configurations, and extended-length mounting fasteners are included. The gear set is designed to minimize operating noise.
