The Muncie A20 Series power take-off, part number A20-A1008-HX3BSPX-XX or A20A1008HX3BSPXXX, is a medium-duty 10-bolt clutch shift PTO designed for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. The shift cover rotates 360 degrees for flexible installation positioning, and the rotatable pump flange adds further plumbing flexibility. Increased clearance simplifies mounting, while extended-length PTO mounting fasteners and three available housing arrangements accommodate varied truck configurations. Tapered roller bearings extend service life, and an increased-diameter output shaft handles higher torque loads. The gear design is optimized for noise reduction, and reduced leak paths keep maintenance intervals in check. The unit is also compatible with the Muncie EX Drive shaft extension.
