The Muncie A20-A1008-HX3IIPX or A20A1008HX3IIPX is a 10-bolt clutch shift power takeoff designed for Allison 3000 and 4000 series transmissions. The shift cover rotates 360 degrees for flexible installation, and the pump flange is also rotatable, giving installers additional positioning options. Increased clearance around the unit simplifies mounting, and extended-length PTO mounting fasteners are included. Tapered roller bearings support the output shaft for extended service life, and an enlarged output shaft diameter adds durability at the drive connection. The unit carries a single intermittent and continuous torque rating across its available speed ratios and is offered in three housing arrangements.
