The Muncie A20-A1008-HX51X or A20A1008HX51X is a medium-duty, clutch shift power take-off designed for Allison 3000 and 4000 series transmissions. It mounts via a 10-bolt pattern and ships in three housing arrangements, giving installers flexibility across chassis configurations. The shift cover rotates 360 degrees, and the pump flange is also fully rotatable, both features that simplify plumbing and hose routing at installation. Tapered roller bearings carry the output load for extended service life, and an increased-diameter output shaft adds durability under continuous hydraulic demand. The gear geometry is optimized to reduce operating noise, and reduced leak paths throughout the housing keep maintenance intervals manageable. Compatible with the Muncie EX Drive shaft extension.
