The Muncie A20-A1009-HX31X or A20A1009HX31X is a medium-duty, 10-bolt clutch shift power take-off engineered specifically for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. The A20 Series design centers on a proven clutch pack with a single intermittent/continuous torque rating and tapered roller bearings for extended service life. A 360-degree rotatable shift cover and rotatable pump flange give technicians flexibility when fitting tight engine bays, while extended-length PTO mounting fasteners and increased component clearances speed installation. The enlarged output shaft diameter improves durability under sustained hydraulic loads, and the maximized gear profile keeps noise low during operation. Three housing arrangements are available, and the unit accepts the Muncie EX Drive shaft extension for applications that require it.
