The Muncie A20 Series 10-bolt clutch shift power takeoff, part number A20-A1009-HX3BSPX or A20A1009HX3BSPX, is a medium-duty PTO designed specifically for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. The A20 Series uses a proven clutch pack design and tapered roller bearings to extend service life, while an increased output shaft diameter adds durability under load. A rotatable pump flange and shift cover with 360-degree rotation simplify installation and hydraulic plumbing. The three available housing arrangements give installers flexibility, and extended-length PTO mounting fasteners and increased clearances make fitting the unit easier. The gear set is optimized for noise reduction, and reduced leak paths keep the installation clean. This unit is also compatible with the Muncie EX Drive shaft extension.
