The Muncie A20-A1009-HX3PB or A20A1009HX3PB is a medium-duty clutch shift power takeoff from the Muncie A20 Series, engineered specifically for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. It mounts via a 10-bolt pattern and features a shift cover with 360-degree rotation, a rotatable pump flange, and extended-length PTO mounting fasteners for improved installation clearance. Tapered roller bearings extend service life, while an increased-diameter output shaft handles higher drive loads. The gear set is designed to minimize operating noise, and reduced leak paths keep maintenance intervals manageable.
