The Muncie A20-A1012-HX3PB (also referenced as A20A1012HX3PB) is a medium-duty, 10-bolt clutch shift power takeoff engineered for Allison 3000 and 4000 series transmissions. The A20 series uses a proven clutch pack design and tapered roller bearings to extend PTO service life. A rotatable pump flange and shift cover with 360-degree rotation simplify installation and mounting configuration. The increased output shaft diameter adds durability under load, while a maximized gear design keeps noise levels down. Three housing arrangements are available, and the unit is compatible with the EX Drive shaft extension. Extended-length PTO mounting fasteners are included. Speed ratios from 5 through 12 and 15 are available across the A20 series, covering a wide range of application requirements. Call us to confirm the correct ratio and configuration for your transmission and hydraulic system.
