The Muncie A20-A1009-HX3PBPW or A20A1009HX3PBPW is a medium-duty, 10-bolt clutch shift power take-off engineered specifically for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. The A20 Series mounts via a 10-bolt pattern and features a shift cover that rotates 360 degrees, giving installers flexibility to position the shift actuation where it works best on the vehicle. A rotatable pump flange, extended-length PTO mounting fasteners, and increased housing clearance simplify installation on crowded chassis. Tapered roller bearings and an increased-diameter output shaft are built into the design to extend service life, and a maximized gear profile keeps noise down under load. The unit carries a single intermittent/continuous torque rating and comes in three housing arrangements, including compatibility with the EX Drive shaft extension.
