The Muncie 828B-U6812-Q3DX or 828BU6812Q3DX is an 82 Series power take-off built for high-torque, heavy-duty truck applications. It uses a double-acting air shift for positive engagement and disengagement, and the cast iron housing handles up to 500 lb.ft. of intermittent torque and 95 HP at 1,000 RPM at the top speed ratio, making it a capable driver for high-volume hydraulic pumps and high-CFM blowers. The 82 Series offers 8 speed ratios, 9 output shaft options, and 2 assembly arrangements. Direct-mount pump options include SAE "B," "BB," "C," and "D" flanges plus DIN 5462 mounts, with rotatable flanges for pump positioning clearance.
