The Muncie 828S-M6508-L4AX or 828SM6508L4AX is an 82 Series power take-off built for high-torque, heavy-duty truck applications. It uses a double-acting air shift for positive engagement and disengagement, and its cast iron housing supports up to 500 lb.ft. intermittent torque and 95 H.P. at 1,000 RPM at the top speed ratio - enough to drive high-volume hydraulic pumps and high-CFM blowers. The series offers 8 speed ratios, 9 output shaft options, and 2 assembly arrangements. Seven direct-mount pump flange options cover SAE "B," "BB," "C," and "D" as well as DIN 5462 mounts. Rotatable direct-mount flanges let you position the pump for maximum clearance. Two companion flange output types support both remote pump and mechanical drive configurations.
