The Muncie 828S-M6510-S3EX (also referenced as 828SM6510S3EX) is an 82 Series heavy-duty power take-off built for high-torque, high-demand truck applications. It uses a double-acting air shift for positive engagement and disengagement, and the cast iron housing is rated at up to 500 lb.ft. intermittent torque and 95 H.P. at 1,000 RPM at its highest speed ratio, making it a capable driver for high-volume hydraulic pumps and high-CFM blowers. The unit offers eight speed ratio choices and nine output shaft options. Direct-mount flanges are rotatable, giving the installer flexibility to position the pump for maximum clearance. Seven direct-mount pump configurations are available, covering S.A.E. "B," "BB," "C," and "D" as well as DIN 5462 mounts.
