The Muncie 828S-U6808-V3DX or 828SU6808V3DX is a heavy-duty power take-off from the Muncie 82 Series, built for high-torque applications such as high-volume pumps and high-CFM blowers. The 82 Series uses double-acting air shift for positive engagement and disengagement, and is housed in a cast iron body. The series supports up to 500 lb.ft. intermittent torque and 95 HP at 1,000 RPM at the highest ratio, with eight available speed ratios and nine output shaft options. Rotatable direct mount flanges allow the pump to be positioned for maximum clearance, with seven direct-mount pump options covering SAE "B," "BB," "C," "D," and DIN 5462 mounts.
