The Muncie 828S-U6809-U1EG or 828SU6809U1EG is a power take-off from Muncie's 82 Series, built for high-torque and heavy-duty truck applications. The 82 Series uses a double-acting air shift for positive engagement and disengagement, and features a cast iron housing. Series torque ratings reach up to 500 lb.ft. intermittent torque at the 0.05 speed ratio position, with continuous torque ratings also available across the eight speed ratios in the lineup.
