The Muncie 828S-U6812-U3CX or 828SU6812U3CX is a power take-off unit from Muncie's 82 Series, a cast iron PTO line built for high-torque and heavy-duty service. The 82 Series uses a double-acting air shift for positive engagement and disengagement, and the rotatable direct mount pump flange allows the driven pump to be positioned for maximum clearance. Seven direct mount pump options are available across SAE "B," "BB," "C," and "D" and DIN 5462 mount patterns, and two companion flange output types support both remote pump and mechanical drive arrangements.
