The Muncie 8405B-08-A3KX or 8405B08A3KX is a power take-off unit from Muncie Power Products' 8405/6A Series, designed to deliver a rigid structure capable of handling high vibration levels. This PTO features a ductile iron housing and an integral 8-bolt mounting pad for secure transmission mounting. The integral air shift eliminates the need for a separate shift valve. An SAE "B" or SAE "B-B" 2- or 4-bolt pump mounting flange is included, with an optional 1-1/4" shaft. The series carries an intermittent torque rating of 230 ft-lb and 44 intermittent horsepower at 1,000 RPM for the "08" speed ratio.
