The Muncie CS6S-F6309-E3TX is a CS6/CS8 Series power take-off unit, a direct-fit option for Allison 1000/2000 series transmissions and a range of manual transmissions. The CS6/CS8 Series supports six transmission input gears, three remote mount output shaft configurations in keyed and flange types, and SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 direct mount pump flanges. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is in the off position. An optional pulse generator allows shaft speed monitoring via a System Protection Device.
