The Muncie CS6S-M6505-A1BX (also referenced as CS6SM6505A1BX) is a CS6/CS8 Series power take-off assembly designed to mount directly on Allison 1000/2000 series transmissions as well as many manual transmissions. The CS6/CS8 Series supports six transmission input gear positions, three remote-mount output shaft configurations in keyed and flange types, and direct-mount pump flanges in SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 patterns. The rotatable direct-mount flanges allow the pump to be positioned for maximum clearance. The series also incorporates Muncie's patented drag brake, which prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is in the off position.
