The Muncie CS8S-U6005-P1CX or CS8SU6005P1CX is a CS8 Series power take-off with an 8-bolt clutch shift design. It offers 19 transmission input gear configurations, making it compatible with a wide range of popular automatic and manual transmissions including Allison 1000/2000 Series units. Direct mount pump flanges conform to SAE "A", "B", and "BB" and DIN 5462 standards, and those flanges rotate to position the pump for maximum clearance. Three remote mount output shafts are available in keyed and flange types for added installation flexibility. Muncie's patented drag brake holds the shaft stationary when the PTO is in the OFF position.
