The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8S-U6807-E1PD or CS8SU6807E1PD, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO engineered for a wide range of automatic and manual transmission applications, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges are rotatable for maximum clearance and are compatible with SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 pump configurations. Three remote mount output shaft options cover both keyed and flange types for added versatility in remote pump drive setups. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is disengaged. An optional pulse generator is available to allow a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
