The Muncie CS8S-U6807-P3DX or CS8SU6807P3DX is a CS8 Series 8-bolt clutch shift power take-off designed to fit a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. It covers 19 transmission input gear configurations and offers three remote mount output shaft options in keyed and flange types for remote pump drives. Direct mount pump flanges are rotatable, letting the installer position the pump for maximum clearance. Mount options include SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 patterns to fit the most common hydraulic pumps. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is disengaged, and an optional pulse generator allows a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
