The Muncie CS8S-U6809-E3EX or CS8SU6809E3EX is a CS8 Series power take-off featuring an 8-bolt clutch shift configuration. It accepts 19 transmission input gears, making it compatible with a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions including Allison 1000/2000 series units. Direct mount pump flanges are available in SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 patterns, and those flanges rotate to allow maximum pump clearance. Three remote mount output shaft options cover keyed and flange types for versatile pump drive setups. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is in the OFF position.
