The Muncie CS8S-U6809-P3KX or CS8SU6809P3KX is a CS6/CS8 Series power take-off designed to fit a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions, including Allison 1000/2000 Series units. It provides 19 transmission input gear configurations, three remote mount output shaft options in keyed and flange types, and direct mount pump flanges compatible with SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 pump interfaces. The rotatable direct mount flanges let the installer position the pump for maximum clearance in tight installations. A patented Muncie drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is disengaged. An optional pulse generator allows a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
