The Muncie SH6S-M6509-A3EX or SH6SM6509A3EX is an air-shift power take-off from Muncie's SH Series, engineered to fill the torque gap between lighter and heavier PTO families. The integral air shift design keeps the air cylinder fully enclosed within the housing, protecting it from road debris and contamination. The 6-bolt cast iron housing mounts cleanly to the transmission without adapters. Depending on the speed ratio, intermittent torque capacity reaches 400 ft-lb (542 Nm) at 1,000 RPM. The SH Series supports 17 input gear sets and 12 output shaft options, covering most popular transmissions and hydraulic pump configurations.
