The Muncie SH6S-U6812-P3EX (also referenced as SH6SU6812P3EX) is a Muncie SH Series air shift power take-off built for high-torque truck applications. This PTO uses an integral air shift design with no exposed air cylinder, mounted in a 6-bolt cast iron housing. The SH Series bridges the gap between the Muncie TG and 82 Series and is engineered to fit 17 input gear set configurations, covering most popular transmissions. Twelve output shaft options accommodate the widest range of pump types. Five speed ratios are available across the series, with intermittent torque ratings reaching 400 lb-ft (542 Nm) at the higher ratio settings.
