The Muncie SH8B-S6809-A1CX (also referenced as SH8BS6809A1CX) is an SH8 Series power take-off designed for high-torque applications, filling the performance gap between Muncie's TG and 82 Series. The unit uses an integral air-shift design with no exposed air cylinder, housed in a cast iron 8-bolt case that measures 11.63" x 13.38" x 15.63". Five speed ratios are available, with intermittent torque ratings ranging from 325 to 400 lb-ft depending on ratio selected.
