The Muncie SH8B-U6812-E1CX (also referenced as SH8BU6812E1CX) is an SH Series air-shift power take-off built for high-torque applications, filling the gap between the TG and 82 Series in Muncie's lineup. The integral air shift design keeps the air cylinder fully enclosed within the housing, eliminating the exposed cylinder found on conventional PTOs. The 8-bolt cast iron housing mounts solidly to the transmission and resists deflection under load. With 17 input gear sets available, this series fits most popular heavy-duty transmissions, and 12 output shaft options accommodate most common hydraulic pump configurations.
