The Muncie SH8D-S6807-A3EX or SH8DS6807A3EX is an air shift power take-off from the Muncie SH Series, positioned between the TG and 82 Series for high-torque applications. The integral air shift design eliminates an exposed air cylinder, keeping the installation clean and protected. The 8-bolt cast iron housing mounts securely to the transmission, and 17 available input gear sets cover most popular transmission applications. Five speed ratios let you match output to the driven equipment, while 12 output shaft options accommodate most common pump types. Intermittent torque ratings at speed ratio 05 and 07 reach 400 lb-ft (542 Nm); continuous ratings at those same ratios are 280 lb-ft (379 Nm).
