The Muncie SH8D-S6809-E3ZX (also referenced as SH8DS6809E3ZX) is an air-shift-only power take-off from the Muncie SH Series, engineered to bridge the gap between the TG and 82 Series PTOs in high-torque service. The housing is 8-bolt cast iron, measuring 11.63 in. H x 13.38 in. W x 15.63 in. L, with an integral air shift design that eliminates any exposed air cylinder. Five available speed ratios cover a broad range of pump demands, and 17 input gear sets allow fitment across most popular transmission platforms. Twelve output shaft options support most common pump configurations. Intermittent torque capacity reaches 400 lb-ft at speed ratios 05 and 07, stepping down to 375 lb-ft at ratio 09 and 325 lb-ft at ratios 12 and 13.
