The Muncie SH8D-S6812-A1KX or SH8DS6812A1KX is an air shift only power take-off from Muncie's SH8 Series, designed for high-torque applications that fall between the TG and 82 Series in capacity. The integral air shift design keeps the air cylinder fully enclosed inside the housing, eliminating the exposed cylinder common on other designs. The 8-bolt cast iron housing mounts straightforwardly to a wide range of transmissions, backed by 17 available input gear sets. Five speed ratios and 12 output shaft options cover most pump configurations. Intermittent torque capacity reaches 400 lb-ft at speed ratios 05 and 07, stepping down to 375 lb-ft at ratio 09 and 325 lb-ft at ratios 12 and 13.
