The Muncie SH8D-S6812-A3IX or SH8DS6812A3IX is an air-shift-only power take-off from Muncie Power's SH8 Series, built for high-torque applications that fall between the TG and 82 Series in demand. The integral air shift design keeps the air cylinder fully enclosed inside the housing, eliminating exposed components. An 8-bolt cast iron housing simplifies mounting and holds up under load. Seventeen input gear sets cover most popular transmission configurations, and 12 output shaft options accommodate the most common pump types. Five available speed ratios let you match output to your specific pump and duty cycle. At speed ratio 05 or 07, intermittent torque capacity reaches 400 lb-ft (542 Nm) at 1,000 RPM.
