The Muncie SH8 Series Power Take-Off, part number SH8S-U6812-E3KX or SH8SU6812E3KX, is an air-shift-only PTO engineered for high-torque truck applications. The integral air shift design eliminates any exposed air cylinder, keeping the unit compact and protected. Its 8-bolt cast iron housing mounts securely to the transmission, and the series covers 17 input gear sets to fit most popular transmission configurations. Five available speed ratios give fleet operators flexibility across applications, and 12 output shaft options make it compatible with most common pump types. Intermittent torque ratings vary by speed ratio, reaching up to 400 lb-ft (542 Nm) at the 05 and 07 speed ratios. The SH Series was designed to fill the gap between Muncie's TG and 82 Series PTOs.
