Muncie TG6B-A6906-53SX or TG6BA690653SX is a TG6 Series PTO built on a 6-bolt housing with a mechanical shift. Its job is to carry engine power from the transmission out to a driven accessory, a hydraulic pump being the usual example, and the shift lets the operator engage it when the equipment needs to run. Muncie builds the TG Series in a die-cast aluminum housing with a modular layout, so service is easier, and the constant mesh input gear shields the transmission from engagement errors.
