The Muncie TG6N-I8506-A3SX or TG6NI8506A3SX is a TG Series double-gear power take-off, the most widely used PTO type in the heavy-duty truck industry. The TG Series is configurable across 10 speed ratios, 13 shift types, 10 output shaft options, and 11 input gears, covering most popular transmission applications. The die-cast aluminum housing reduces noise and improves heat dissipation compared to iron housings. A constant mesh input gear isolates the transmission from engagement errors, and the extra-large shift cover opening gives direct access for backlash checks without pulling the unit. Electric or hydraulic shift options eliminate shift cables entirely. Rotatable hydraulic flanges allow pump clearance adjustments without rerouting lines.
