The Muncie TG6N-I8506-C3GX (also referenced as TG6NI8506C3GX) is a TG Series double-gear power take-off, the most widely used PTO type in the heavy-duty truck industry. The TG Series is built on a die-cast aluminum housing that reduces noise and dissipates heat, with a compact envelope designed to minimize mounting interference. A constant mesh input gear isolates the transmission from engagement errors, and the extra-large shift cover opening gives direct access for backlash checks without removing the unit. The 6 or 8-bolt housing pattern simplifies installation across a broad range of transmissions, and rotatable hydraulic flanges allow pump clearance to be maximized during installation.
