The Muncie TG6S-KIT12-X2BH or TG6SKIT12X2BH is a TG Series power take-off (PTO) with a 6-bolt housing and mechanical shift. The TG Series is a double-gear type PTO, and its constant mesh input gear keeps the transmission insulated from engagement mistakes.
A PTO draws rotating power from the transmission so the truck can run auxiliary equipment such as a hydraulic pump. On the TG Series, rotatable hydraulic flanges help maximize pump clearance, the die-cast aluminum housing keeps the unit light and quiet while shedding heat well, and a large shift cover opening makes it easy to check backlash. Call Pro Gear and Transmission to confirm the right PTO for your transmission.
