TG6S-U6809-A3BX or TG6SU6809A3BX is a genuine Muncie TG6 Series PTO with a 6-bolt housing and mechanical shift, sold by Pro Gear and Transmission. The TG Series is a double-gear power take-off with a die-cast aluminum housing, a constant mesh input gear and a modular design that keeps repair simple. A PTO that whines usually has its gear meshing too tightly with the transmission gear, which also loads the idler shaft and bearings, while a chatter means the mesh is too loose.
