Muncie TG8B-U6809-A1PX or TG8BU6809A1PX is a TG8 Series power take-off with an 8-bolt housing and mechanical shift. As a double-gear PTO, it takes engine power through the transmission into its own gearbox, which can then turn a hydraulic pump. The TG Series comes in 10 speed ratios and 11 input gears, so check the configuration before you order.
With a mechanical shift, the PTO is engaged while its gears are stopped. Once installed, watch the gear lash: a tight setting whines and loads the idler shaft and bearings, while a loose one chatters, a noise that can ease under load. A genuine Muncie part from Pro Gear and Transmission. Call us to confirm proper fit.
